Here we are at the start of another New Moon, this time in Libra during a Solar Eclipse...what astro effects can be felt during this time?

"This lunar cycle begins with a powerful new moon eclipse in the air sign of Libra, ruled by Venus. As we welcome the potent energy of this solar eclipse, it is the balance of all that Venus rules, including love and relationships, in the spotlight.
Libra energy celebrates matters of the heart, how we relate to others and what helps us connect to our own heart centre. This sign seeks peace, love and harmony, and if any of these feel out of balance, the eclipse has the potential to illuminate this.
If the relationships in your life need some attention, this is an opportunity to come back to your centre, breathe, and tune into what your heart is happy to give and receive in equal measure.
The symbolism of new beginnings and fresh energy is strong with a new moon eclipse. However, this eclipse involves the south node, which, in Hellenistic Astrology is associated with the diminishment or contraction of something. This suggests that for a new beginning to occur, old patterns may need to be released. If relationships need an overhaul – now could be the time!
Eclipses, by their very nature, can be revelatory. With the build up to this eclipse holding some strong Mercury cazimi action (when the sun and Mercury align), and Mercury getting up close and personal to the eclipse itself, we may find ourselves gaining new clarity in our connections with others. Communication could be intense and cathartic.

You can also look back to the eclipses in March and April this year to explore any interweaving threads. Bear in mind that the energy may feel prominent around the eclipse, or it might take a few months for the power of the eclipse to unfold. If you can make time to journal about what themes are coming up in your life, this will be helpful to reflect on when the next eclipse season arrives.
Give yourself space for recalibration if needed. Lighten your schedule where possible, appreciate those loving connections around you and stay open to new insights. This can be a powerful time for transformation, aligning our soul path once more with truth, beauty and wisdom.
